Terms of Service
The agreement for using and purchasing Ownspoken.
Who we are
These Terms are an agreement between you and Hajar Labs LLC, a Texas limited liability company, for the Ownspoken product ("Hajar Labs," "Ownspoken," "we," "us," or "our"). Ownspoken is a product name and not a separate legal entity or DBA. Our mailing address is 2916 Grand Mission Way, Pflugerville, TX 78660. For support, billing, cancellation, privacy, dispute, or chargeback questions, contact keith@narrativecouncil.com.
1. The service
Ownspoken is an AI-assisted executive positioning and communications service for businesses and communications agencies. It supports evidence intake, living executive briefs, questionnaires, public-source research, opportunity development, exact-wording approval, exports, and read-only retrieval. It does not automatically publish, pitch journalists, or speak on an executive's behalf.
AI-assisted work can be incomplete or inaccurate. You must review material facts, permissions, claims, sources, and intended use before relying on or publishing an output. Ownspoken is not legal, tax, accounting, investment, employment, medical, political, or other regulated professional advice.
2. Eligibility, accounts, and authority
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement. If you use Ownspoken for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it. Keep account access secure and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
- Submit material only when you have the rights, notices, consents, and lawful authority needed to do so.
- Do not submit unlawful, malicious, infringing, or unnecessarily sensitive material.
- Do not treat an executive review link, draft, or system suggestion as authority to publish unless the recorded approval says so.
- Do not probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, resell, or use the service to build a competing model or dataset except where law expressly permits it.
3. Customer material, confidentiality, and outputs
You retain ownership of material you submit. You grant Hajar Labs a limited, non-exclusive right to process it to provide, secure, support, and maintain Ownspoken, comply with law, and handle disputes. Each party will use reasonable care to protect the other's confidential information and disclose it only to people and service providers who need it for those purposes or when law requires disclosure.
Subject to these Terms and third-party rights, you may use outputs created for your workspace for your legitimate internal and external business purposes. Hajar Labs retains Ownspoken software, workflows, prompts, methods, templates, evaluations, pre-existing material, and generalized know-how. Human edits and approved wording remain attributable to their recorded authors and approvers.
4. Subscriptions, capacity, and payment
Stripe processes payment. The checkout page shows the plan, billing interval, currency, applicable tax, and amount before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected monthly or annual interval until canceled. You authorize recurring charges according to the disclosed schedule.
A paid Company subscription provides the purchased number of active executive places. An Agency subscription includes five pooled places, with additional purchased capacity as shown at checkout. Draft setup does not allocate a place. Archiving an executive stops ongoing work and releases the place; pausing delivery alone does not.
Upgrades may take effect immediately with the displayed proration or charge. Reductions, annual-to-monthly changes, and supported currency changes take effect at renewal. Ordinary service and the published capacity are included; Ownspoken does not create automatic usage overages for exceptional work.
5. Cancellation, failed payment, and deletion
You may cancel through the available billing controls or support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid term. Amounts already paid are non-refundable except where these Terms, a written offer, or applicable law requires otherwise.
After a payment failure, service ordinarily receives a seven-day grace period. If payment is not recovered, paid generation and ongoing service stop and the workspace enters a 30-day read-only export period. Cancellation follows the same 30-day export period after the paid term. Customer content is then scheduled for deletion, subject to required financial, legal, security, fraud, and dispute records.
6. Service changes and availability
We may improve or change features and providers while preserving the material paid service. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, a particular model or provider, a media result, revenue, factual accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. When a safe and useful result cannot be completed, Ownspoken preserves work and exposes the recovery need; it does not manufacture approval or evidence.
7. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ownspoken is provided as is and as available, without warranties of merchantability, non-infringement, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. This does not exclude protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunity. Hajar Labs' aggregate liability arising from Ownspoken will not exceed the amount you paid for Ownspoken during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Resolution, law, and changes
Before filing a claim, send a written notice describing the issue and requested resolution to keith@narrativecouncil.com and allow 30 days for good-faith resolution. This does not prevent timely emergency relief or a nonwaivable consumer process. Texas law governs these Terms, and, subject to mandatory law, exclusive court venue is in Travis County, Texas. These Terms do not require arbitration.
We may update these Terms prospectively. Material changes will be identified by a new version and effective date. The checkout confirmation, these Terms, the Privacy Notice, and linked policies form the agreement for the subscription.
